Total ban on the purchase, use, sale and import of all e-cigarettes and heat-not-burn devices since 2018.

What's allowed
  • Possession, use and purchase of e-cigarettes is illegal for everyone
  • Sale, distribution and import all carry criminal penalties
  • Heat-not-burn tobacco products are also banned
What's banned
  • Travellers may be searched at Changi Airport and devices seized
  • Reporting violations is rewarded by the Health Sciences Authority

Penalties

Up to S$2,000 fine for possession; up to S$10,000 fine and/or 6 months imprisonment for sale or import.
